Summer Breeze and Golden Summer
Inspired by the middle of the year and the transition into and out of the summer season, these two distinctly different styles of shawl capture my favourite times of year. From the sweet frothy blossoms bursting out in spring to the last rays of golden light from the setting sun in the autumn, a few changes to the design create a look as difference as the two book ends of summer.

Pattern Notes
Both shawls are a trapezium shape, with an open lace design in the centre. The main part of the shawl features an open lace design worked in rows from the bottom up, then a choice of borders are added by working in the round.

Skill Level
Intermediate
The pattern uses only basic stitches but with some attention required for the written directions.
