This pattern is the perfect hat for little babies. Knitting with colors into your work means you don’t have to hand sew them on later!

I used Size 8 double pointed needles AND circular needles with 16” in length.

Since this hat is for babies, you don’t need a lot of yarn.

This pattern is intermediate level. The hat is easy, but you do need to know how to change colors. This is not a charted pattern. I have written it out so it’s easier to understand.

Picture shown is Newborn size. More blue will show with the bigger hat sizes so the goldfish will appear smaller.
