You have to hand it to anyone who tests the market and holds out for perfection! That’s how I feel about this sock pattern, I’ve knitted many, many socks in my time, but this is definitely my new go-to pattern.
The pretty textured pattern is easy but effective to work, cleverly chosen to avoid a pattern jog between rows and interesting enough to keep the project moving (plus the rows are easy to count because there’s a ‘bump’ every two rows!).
Meanwhile, the heel decreases are designed to ensure that the stitches lie naturally flat, easy to work and super comfortable to wear.
Easily made from less than 70gm of any sock weight yarn, the socks are perfect to wear with day shoes as well as boots.
The GORGEOUS yarn is silky smooth and lovely to knit, but is robust and doesn’t split or buckle. (Don’t even get me started on the beautiful colour palette available - such interesting, pretty shades…)
Lastly, these socks fit like a dream, with an elastic heel and comfy stocking stitch sole - never mind Cinderella’s lost slipper, these are definitely the socks that Goldilocks would have chosen!
