This is a lovely stitch and a fun moderately easy project for you to create!

CROCHET REQUIRED TO COMPLETE 3 BEARS, FLORAL HALO, MOMMA BEAR APRON AND BABY BEAR’S SHOULDERBAG. GOLDY LOCKS SKIRTED ROMPER, BOOTIES AND KNOTTED HEADBAND AS WELL AS PAPA BEAR’S NECK SCARF are knitted.

Skill level: Intermediate to moderate

Materials Required for Romper set :

DK weight yarn (romper, booties and headband)

For this skirted romper, headband and booties I used Nako Paris in colors (A) #6383 , (B) 1043 and (C) #11270. You will need one ball of each color to work up this romper set but you will have plenty leftover yarn.

Size 4 mm (US 6) circular needle (16 inch length)

Crochet hooks in size:

4.5mm for crochet frill

Darning needle

9 - ½ inch wooden buttons

2 Stitch Markers

Materials Required for bears:

Bulky/Chunky yarn (3 bears), Aran/Medium (mama bear dress and floral halo, baby bear shoulder bag), Worsted/medium (shoulder bag and neck scarf for papa bear

For 3 bears I used Red Heart Hygge Fur in color (A) Soft Taupe….you will need 1 entire ball to complete all 3 bears. For Mamma Bear’s dress and floral halo and baby bear’s shoulder bag you’ll need a smidgen of each color (B) Bright Gold and (C) Oats. For Papa Bear’s neck scarf and detail to shoulder bag I used a smidgen of Knit Picks Brava Worsted in color (D) Umber Heather.

Size 4.5 mm (US 7) circular needle (16 inch length)

Crochet hooks in size:

4.5mm for floral halo, dress and shoulder bag, 5.5mm (baby bear), 6mm (mamma bear) and 7mm (papa bear)

Darning needle

Stuffing for bears

Small amount of black yarn for bear noses and features to shoulder bag

4 - small buttons for baby bear eyes and momma bear’s dress …. 4 - medium size buttons of choice for Momma and Papa Bear’s eyes. I used a flat black plastic shank style button. These buttons have a loop on the underside rather than having holes.

This is a wonderful gift to make in no time or to sell as a Photo prop.
