• 100% wool yarn in worsted weight is recommended - the hotter the colors, the better!

• Approximate total yarn requirements, without pom-pom: Utility/Rescue, 80-90 yds. ; Wood, 90-100 yds. ; Driver, 130-150 yds.

• Allow an extra 40-50 yds for a pom-pom or 15 yds for a tassel.

• The specially ribbed neck of the cover is stretchy, allowing the head cover to slip on/off quickly.

• Utility/Rescue and Wood sizes use #6 double pointed needles, while the Driver uses #6 and #8 needles.
