These knitted covers are designed to slip over the heads of golf irons to protect them in your golf bag. They make a great gift for the golfer who has nearly everything!

They feature:

  • Soft, thick one-piece construction
  • Seamless fitted design, worked in the round
  • Iron number applique is ironed onto the top of the cover

Needles : Pattern is written to use a set of (5) double-pointed needles (US Size 8, 5mm).

  • Each cover requires between 18-20 grams of Patons Classic Wool yarn - a standard skein will be enough to make 5 covers.

  • Requires an iron-on applique number, no greater than 1 3/8” (35 mm) wide

These iron covers are 3-dimensional and are NOT felted. If you are interested in a flat, felted iron cover knitting pattern, see my other golf iron cover pattern.
