Good Intentions
I solemnly swear that I truly meant well…
… but really, what else can be said about a shawl made entirely of single crochet and chains? What in the world was I thinking? :)
I can tell you that it honestly did come together a lot faster than I expected. I can tell you that it will come together a lot faster if you do the same pattern with a bulky weight yarn and a 10mm hook. (See blue/black version to the left, which was left unblocked.) And I can promise you that when it is blocked, it will grow and it will look amazing.
This is an easy shawl with a one-row repeat that hopefully won’t have you muttering under your breath about what the road to Hell is paved with. ;)
Note: I completed my shawl, which blocked out quite generously, using only 450 yards of DK yarn--bulky version used approx. 310 yards of yarn. However, if you want a bigger shawl (possibly because you wish to leave it unblocked), you will need more.
Items made from my patterns are intended for personal use, sale, or world domination--as long as I get a parking space wherever I want once the world is yours.
