This is a pattern for an ornately cabled stole. There are also instructions contained within the pattern for a scarf, (8 inches wide), and a shawl (22 1/2 inches wide) giving you the choice of what you’d like to make.

This stole is knitted with light worsted weight. The stole is approximately 15 1/2 inches x 74 inches, but can be altered as stated above, and requires approximately 800 - 1000 yards. The focal cable stitch comes to us from Canada and the creative mind of Annie Maloney.

The stitches are both charted and written out.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a very good working knowledge of cabling .)

There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged. This pattern was expertly tested by Laura Westin who can be reached at: Gax000w@gmail.com and was knit using Handmaiden, Fleece Artist’s BFL DK.
