Make this adorable drawstring hair tie to show off your love for geese, or gift to a friend and they will honk with joy! This project works up fast and is fun to make!

This little goose is not just for long hair! If you would like to use it on short hair, you could bobby pin the back “wing” to your hair by catching some of the stitches. Or, if you want it to be a hair clip permanently, you could hot glue the back side of the goose onto a hair clip!

Skill Level: Intermediate

Stitches used: Slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, treble, triple treble

Sizing: One size (Works best to gather medium to thick hair. Lower or raise hook size and yarn weight to create a smaller or larger size)

Materials:

Small amounts of worsted weight yarn: white & orange (or yellow)

Scrap of black embroidery thread or black yarn

J-6mm hook

Yarn needle

Scissors
