Gooseberry Fool
This is a great quick knit and a very simple pattern that an almost novice knitter could make. I have used a bulky lightweight yarn that drapes beautifully. (quoted from Laughing Hens website)
From The Knit Knacks: This is my fifth book for Search Press and now you can knit a variety of snoods for all the family. Knitting the snoods give you the opportunity to knit cables, fair isle, lace and basic stitches and the great thing is you can finish most of the projects over one or two evenings. Once you wear one your friends and family will want one.
IMPORTANT NOTE - Errata for this pattern as found in Ravelry’s forums:
Original pattern read: “Rows 1-6: using yarn A, * k1, k2tog, rep from * to end.”
It should read: “Rows 1-6: using yarn A, * k1, yo, k2tog, rep from * to end.”
