Size:
Cowl (shown): 8x35 inches (customizable)
Scarf: Knit to wearer’s height, 440 yards is enough to make a scarf for a tall man.

Materials:
Cowl: you will need 250 yards of a bulky weight yarn such as Cascade 128
Size 8 needles or size needed to obtain gauge of 3 stitches per inch
4 buttons for the front, 4 buttons for the back to secure the front buttons

Scarf: you will need 440 yards of a worsted weight yarn such as Cascade 220

Size 6 needles or size needed to obtain a gauge of 5 stitches per inch
