Note:
Gauge is not crucial for this project. The size of your snail may vary depending on the weight of the yarn and the size of the hook you use. So, if you use thicker yarn, the Gordon will become bigger and with thinner yarn, he will be smaller. To avoid holes, where the filling is showing through, you should use a smaller hook than the smallest recommended hook for your yarn.
