Cwtch of Comfort was founded in March 2014 as the blankets project for the charity 2 Wish Upon A Star. We make and collect blankets and quilts which form an important part of the bereavement boxes which are given to suddenly bereaved families in A&E and ICU across Wales.

The charity’s mascot is an elephant called Gorgeous George - he is a stuffed elephant who is given to bereaved siblings.
