“Gorgeously Wrapt “ is a poncho type shape that can also be worn with loose sleeves by knotting tassels together that are attached to each corner.
The model garment is sized to fit a medium. However, by continuing to increase, and working further repeats of the lace insert, and longer garter stitch edges, the garment can be adapted to any size desired .

The garment is knitted from the top down and features a simple lace insert on back, front and sleeves.

It is knitted in a fingering /4 ply yarn on 4mm needles .
The beautiful yarn used for the model is a singles /fingering /4 ply , colorway ‘Kneazle’ from www.rubyfoxyarns.com. Medium size takes approximately 300 grams.

The knit starts with a straight knitted neck line that is then joined to form a circle and then knitted in one piece, increasing as you go.

The front edge and longer back edges are then knitted separately n garter stitch .

A simple crocheted chain tassel is attached to each corner and can be tied to form a sleeve
