Very suitable as a first time glove pattern if you are familiar with twist stitch cables, or as a first time twist stitch pattern if you have some experience with gloves.
Maybe a little bit of a challenge if you have knitted neither twist stitch cables nor gloves before, but still totally manageable! Pattern contains lots of helpful tips and advice.

Needle advice: The gloves can be worked with circular needles and magic loop, or with dpns. The instructions don’t refer to a particular needle type.

Sizing: Pattern as written produces a 16 cm / 6.25’’ hand circumference. The size can easily be changed by using a thinner or thicker yarn. The gloves can also be made larger by adding stitches in between the centre and side panels on the back of hand and on the palm.

The whole gloves are charted, with accompanying written instructions. You cannot work the pattern without using the charts.

Gut geeignet als Einstieg ins Handschuhstricken oder als ein erstes Projekt mit verschränkten Zopfmustern. Vielleicht eine kleine Herausforderung, wenn man weder mit Handschuhen noch mit Zopfmustern vertraut ist, aber auch dann völlig machbar! Die Anleitung enthält viele hilfreiche Tips.

Nadeln: Die Handschuhe können mit Rundstricknadeln oder einem Nadelspiel gestrickt werden, die Anleitung bezieht sich nicht auf einen bestimmten Nadeltyp.

Größe: Die Anleitung ist für Damenhandschuhe mittlerer Größe (16 cm Handumfang). Man kann sie leicht größer oder kleiner stricken, indem man dickeres oder dünneres Garn verwendet. Sie können auch durch das Einfügen von Maschen zwischen den Zopfmusterstreifen vergrößert werden.
