Este gorro fue diseñado especialmente para mi hijo, al que le encantan los gorros apegados a la cabeza, sencillos y abrigadores.

Además de esta inspiración, rápidamente llegó a mí la idea de hacer un accesorio muy versátil, reversible, con el que pudiera jugar con el color. La tarde en que me senté a concretar mi idea empezaron a caer esas gotas sutiles a las que popularmente se les llama “llovizna”.
Y así nació este gorro, de forma natural y sutil, para que pueda disfrutarlo cualquier miembro de la familia.

CONSTRUCCIÓN

Como “Llovizna” es un gorro reversible, se inicia con un urdido provisional y se trabaja en dos partes, ambas de abajo hacia arriba.

Utiliza dos colores, así que en una parte el color A se utiliza como fondo y el B para hacer las “gotitas” y en la segunda parte el color B pasa a ser el fondo y el A hace de contraste. Ambas partes se trabajan de la misma forma.

Puedes trabajar la pretina de acuerdo a dos opciones: hacerla en punto jersey o en elástico retorcido; luego se incorpora el patrón de “gotitas” que se trabaja en punto jersey y puntos deslizados.

Para dar cierre al gorro se hacen algunas vueltas de disminuciones, hasta llegar a la coronilla y cerrar todos los puntos.

Una vez se termina la primera parte, se retoman los puntos del urdido provisional y se trabaja el segundo gorro de la misma manera.

TALLAS

1 (2, 3, 4, 5) que corresponden a una circunferencia de cabeza de 35.5-40.5 (40.5-46, 45.5-51, 51-56, 56-61) cm.

MEDIDAS

Las medidas han sido tomadas después de bloquear el gorro terminado. Cada talla del gorro ha sido pensada con una holgura neutra. Se sugiere escoger aquella que más te acomode respecto a tu gusto en gorros.

Si quieres un accesorio más apegado a la cabeza, te recomiendo escoger la talla que más se acerque a tu medida de circunferencia de cabeza o que, incluso, tenga un poco de holgura negativa. Si te gustan los gorros más holgados, te sugiero escoger una talla más grande.

El patrón contiene instrucciones para elaborar el gorro con hilado grosor DK y sport.

HILADO

Muestra DK:

85% lana merino superwash y 15% nylon de Lialanas (Color 1, gris) y Margarita Lanas y Más (Color 2, celeste), 400 m por cada madeja de 100 g (fingering).

Metraje: Utilizarás aproximadamente 220 (260, 280, 320, 360) m de cada color.

Gramaje: Utilizarás aproximadamente 55 (65, 70, 80, 90) g de cada color.

Para la muestra se utilizaron hilados en grosor fingering pero puestos dobles, lo que genera grosor DK.

Muestra Sport:

100% algodón de Revésderecho, 250 m por cada madeja de 100 g.

Metraje: Utilizarás aproximadamente 140 (165, 175, 200, 225) m de cada color.

Gramaje: Utilizarás aproximadamente 55 (65, 70, 80, 90) g de cada color.

AGUJAS

Muestra DK:

Agujas circulares de 4.0 mm o el grosor necesario para alcanzar la muestra de tensión (con cable de al menos 40 cm) o agujas de doble punta.

Agujas circulares de 3.5 mm o 0.5 mm más delgadas que las agujas principales para el punto elástico.

Muestra Sport:

Agujas circulares de 3.5 mm o el grosor necesario para alcanzar la muestra de tensión (con cable de al menos 40 cm) o agujas de doble punta.

Agujas circulares de 3.0 mm o 0.5 mm más delgadas que las agujas principales para el punto elástico.

MUESTRA

Muestra 1 (DK): 20 pts x 34 Vs = 10x10 cm, tejida en circular en punto jersey con agujas de 4.0 mm o el grosor necesario para obtener la muestra medida después de bloquear.

Muestra 2 (Sport): 25 pts x 34 Vs = 10x10 cm tejida en circular en punto jersey con agujas de 3.5 mm o el grosor necesario para obtener la muestra medida después de bloquear.

Llovizna is a hat designed especially for my son, who loves snug, simple, and warm hats.

In addition to this inspiration, the idea quickly came to me to create a very versatile, reversible accessory where I could play with color. That afternoon, as I sat down to finalize my idea, those subtle drops that are commonly called “llovizna” began to fall. And thus, this hat was born, naturally and subtly, so that any family member could enjoy it.

CONSTRUCTION

Since “Llovizna” is a reversible hat, it starts with a provisional cast-on and is worked in two parts, both from bottom to top.

It uses two colors: in one part, Color A is used as the background and Color B for the “drops,” while in the second part, Color B becomes the background and Color A is the contrast. Both parts are worked the same way.

You can work the ribbing in either stockinette stitch or twisted rib; then the “llovizna pattern“ is worked in stockinette stitch and slipped stitches.

To finish the hat, some decrease rounds are made until reaching the crown and closing all the stitches.

Once the first part is finished, pick up the stitches from the provisional cast-on and work the second hat in the same manner.

SIZES

1 (2, 3, 4, 5), corresponding to head circumferences of 35.5-40.5 (40.5-46, 45.5-51, 51-56, 56-61) cm.

MEASUREMENTS

The measurements have been taken after blocking the finished hat. Each size of the hat has been designed with a neutral fit. It is suggested to choose the size that best suits your preference for hats.

If you prefer a hat that fits closer to the head, I recommend choosing the size closest to your head circumference or even one with a bit of negative ease. For a looser fit, choose a larger size.

The pattern includes instructions for making the hat with DK and sport weight yarn.

DK Weight:
