Gosha the White Lion
Crochet lion pattern is 30 pages long and contains 115 detailed step-by-step photographes of amigurumi lion toy creation.
What you will learn
• How to crochet in the forepaws into the body (not to sew!) carefully
• How to felt the mane and How to make a tail switch (has the tutorial with so many photoes and written description so it can be really easy to follow!)
• How to make a loop for a button, overalls straps are infastened (contains the tutorial with many detailed photoes)
• How to change yarn colors for the legs and body to put Gosha in the pajamas (has an Instruction)
You must be familiar with basic crochet stitches and techniques such as: magic ring, single crochet stitch, chain stitches, slip stitch, single crochet increase, single crochet decrease.
This pattern is written in American English. There are different terms for crocheting in British and American English
What you will need: Materials and Tools
• yarn for a body (А) and for an overalls (В): YarnArt Jeans or similar (55% cotton / 45% pac; 160 m / 50 g)
• crochet hook 2,5 m size
• black beads for eyes (2 pieces)
• 2 buttons and a little piece for a patch
• brown thread for embroidery (muzzle and paws) • thread to sew the body parts (the closest color to the yarn as possible), black thread to sew the eyes-beads, the closest thread color to the overalls yarn as possible)
• sewing needle & pins
• stuffing materials
• felting wool (the closest color to the lion yarn as possible)
• felting needle
Of cource it doesn’t mean that you need to line up yarn and hooks as I use.
