Gossamer Twist sweater is a beginner friendly top-down knitting pattern. You will need to be familiar with basic knitting techniques and understand top-down sweater construction in order to make this garment. You will hold three strands of yarn together throughout the pattern, one strand of wool and two strands of silk mohair. First the neck is worked in twisted rib on short tip circular needles, then you will work the yoke with increases and then separately sleeves and body. Worked in stockinette stitch all the way through. Intended to be worn with little ease. 5-10 cm of positive ease is built into the pattern. Read all the way through before you begin.

And 105, (110), 120, (135), 145, (160), 170, (185), 195 grams of Drops Kid-Silk Uni Color, 25 grams = 210 meters / 230 yards, sample shown in color 12. Hint; You are welcome to use any bulk weight yarn that meets the gauge.

Suggested Needles
For the neck; short tip 16”(40 cm) US15 / 10 mm + regular size tip US15/ 10 mm, 32” or 40” (80 cm or 100 cm) circular knitting needles or needles to obtain gauge. Longer needles can be used for the neck and the sleeves if you use magic loop method.
