This pattern is worked in a DK weight 100% mercerized cotton. Pattern is in a larger font with a hybrid recipe format that is simple to follow and keep track of. Also included is a large blow up of the stitch pattern for reference. There is only one seam and increases are all done in large upward graduated sized hooks, there are no decreases. Worked from the top down, this skirt uses larger hooks and works up fairly quickly. I recommend it for an advanced beginner. There are 3 choices for finishing the waistband including elastic with casing, Drawstring with casing and weave through drawstring. Detailed instructions are included for all versions. This skirt will fit 32” - 38” waist as written. You will need a large eyed needle, large safty pin, optional extra wide seam binding, 3/4” elastic.
