GÖTE Hat Mohair Edition
The GÖTE Hat – Mohair edition is knit with two yarn strands held together - Merino Wool and Silk Mohair - creating a super soft fabric and the twisted rib stitch gives the hat a beautifully well-defined rib pattern.
The GÖTE Hat is knit bottom up, starting with the Italian cast-on method which will create a brim edge that melts perfectly into the twisted rib pattern while still having horizontal stretch for a comfortable fit. A knit row is worked to create a natural fold line for the brim and finally decreases are knit to shape the crown.
GÖTE is derived from the name Göteborg – the second largest city in Sweden situated on the West Coast. A fashionable and friendly city close to the sea.
