Yummy, it’s cheese and biscuits for tea! With this pattern you can knit a wedge of Gouda for a toy box, a pet’s toy, or use as a quirky pincushion. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the cheese wedge is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/280m skein in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, and stitch markers.

SIZES
One size only - The wedge is 6cm tall x 10cm wide.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
