Calling all pumpkin lovers! Meet Gourdie, the cutest little oblong pumpkin you’ve ever seen! As Fall lover, Gourdie loves hanging out on porches, mantels and windowsills. His favorite thing is seeing all the leaves change color! This is a quick make which means you can make more than one in an afternoon, making your very own pumpkin patch!

This pattern includes step-by-step photos and directions to help you along as you make it. There is also a full video tutorial on my Youtube Channel for guidance.

Crochet Pattern Difficulty: Beginner

Pattern is written in English, with US crochet terminology.

Pattern uses Super Fine weight yarn but ANY type of yarn can be used. Just make sure to increase the size of your hook (and safety eyes) if using thicker yarn!

Materials Needed:

Super Fine weight yarn-
For pumpkin A- I used Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/4 in the color Burnt Orange (66) and Friends Cotton 8/4 in the colors Ash Brown (08).
For pumpkins B & C- I used Friends Cotton 8/4 in the colors Whiskey (16) and Sage (114).
One skein is enough to make 3 pumpkins.

Size C/2.75mm crochet hook
One pair of 8mm safety eyes
Black embroidery floss and needle
Polyester fiberfill stuffing
Yarn needle
Scissors
Stitch marker
Straight pins

Skills Needed:

Magic Ring
Single Crochet
Increase
Invisible Decrease
Back Loops Only

Finished Measurement:

3.25 inches tall and 3.25 inches wide
