INSPIRATION
Grab & Go is a quick to knit 2x2 ribbed scarf with an i-cord edge that’s worked as you go - you can knit this in neutrals or colors to go with any outfit! It’s a great basic to have on hand when you need a little something to cover your neck when you run out the door:)
The pattern includes two versions: version A pictured in light pink is trapeze shaped and version B shown in red is a shallow triangle. Either of these take about 300 yards of sport weight yarn. If you’d like a bigger scarf, you can use a scale to adjust.
YARN
Miss Babs Laurel Falls – 100% merino wool; 300 yards (274 m) per 100 g (3.53 oz) skein
300 yards for either version
Version A shown in color Cat’s Meow(pink); Version B shown in red
MEASUREMENTS
Version A: 57” tip to tip; 4” wide
Version B: 49” tip to tip; 5.5” wide at the widest spot
NEEDLES
US#4/3.50mm – 16”/40cm needles
TOOLS
Removable marker, scale(optional), tapestry needle for weaving in ends
GAUGE
40 sts per 4” using US#4/3.50mm needles in 2x2 rib unstretched post light blocking or size to obtain gauge
