This Grace Kelly inspired shawl features a dramatic lace pattern and intricate beading.

My project notes: Grace Kelly’s Paris dress in Rear Window - incredible dress, incredible inspiration. After creating two different tops inspired by the iconic dress, I just had to make a crescent shawl reminiscent of the beautiful embroidery of the dress. I used the original lace I created for the sleeves of one of the tops as a starting point; I expanded the chart and I changed it so it can be worked from the bottom up. I added beads throughout the lace for a bit of sparkle and to add some beautiful drape to the finished shawl.
