Fingerless mitts knit up with Pigeonroof Studios 240 yard mini-skein sets, so that the colours shade up the mitts.

These fit a woman’s small hand, but it’s a quite simple pattern to modify if needed with adding more stitches. The changing of colours may happen on different rows, though. Colours aside, if you take away the yarn switches, and just go by stitch count and rows, it’s a wonderful basic mitt pattern that almost anyone can knit.

Materials: one 240 yard Pigeonroof Studios mini-skein set.
Gauge: 5.5 stitches to 1 inch in stocking stitch on size 5 u.s. needles, with yarn held doubled. Each mini-skein set has 6 skeins, each dyed in a gradual deepening of colour.

This is my first pattern, so let me know if you have any problems with it!
