Gradient Mosaic Scarf

Welcome to the Gradient Scarf pattern! This pattern is fairly simple but creates such a striking effect. I first came up with this pattern during the pandemic lockdown in 2020, and I absolutely fell in love with how the design allows you to play with contrasting colors. Once you get the hang of things, this pattern can be used to create almost any sized item you can imagine. The sky is the limit! I felt inspired to create a written pattern for this design after many requests on my Tiktok page (@thatsellajackson). It was such a meaningful experience to connect with other crochet artists online and have the opportunity to share and learn from one another during lockdown. I hope this pattern brings you as much joy as it does me!

You can use any yarn and hook you like for your project. I used a 4.00mm hook and Stylecraft Special DK from my stash.

The nature of this pattern allows you to play around with color. I had so much fun experimenting with the overlapping pattern to create something unique and beautiful. You can plan out your colors or follow your heart as you go. (I like to do both!)
