There are instructions within the pattern for substituting different yarns and how the substitutions fit into the pattern repeats (i.e….so you won’t have to play yarn chicken). There are also schematics for coloring in to help you decide your color progression and a separate file with a table you can populate after you’ve made your final color choices. This is a shawl that lends itself to creativity; yet, it is a very simple knit.
