You can make an Graduate Gnomes by following this crochet pattern. The pattern contains a large number of photographs of the process. Graduate Gnome toy will be a wonderful decoration for your home, as well as an original Graduation gifts.
This doll is a great project for beginner’s crocheters. The pattern does not provide “How to” on crochet stitches. Basic crochet skills required.
The crochet pattern includes a list of necessary materials and tools. The pattern is 16 pages long and has 42 pictures to help you.
I used 55%cotton/45%acrylic yarn 100g / 330m and crochet hook 1,75 mm. The toy is 12 cm tall (about 4.5 - 5 inches) using the materials mentioned above.
MATERIALS AND TOOLS
• Yarn (I used 55% cotton/ 45% acrylic yarn, 100g / 330m),
• color А - I used blue (40 g),
• color В - I used white (10 g),
• color C - I used yellow (few),
• nose - pink color (few),
• beard - white color (I used 100% acrylic yarn),
• any multi-colored yarn for balloons (I used thin cotton),
• thin wire for balloons,
• 2 pieces of cardboard or plastic,
• stuffing,
• matching crochet hook (I used 1.75 mm),
• scissors,
• tapestry needle,
• tweezers
