This owl can be made with or without the graduation cap. It stands about 3.75” tall, but if you want it larger or smaller, adjust your hook size or use a thicker/thinner yarn. Great thing is you don’t have to worry about the gauge! Only small amounts of each color yarn is necessary.

You will need to know some amigurumi basics, such as the magic circle, increases and decreases, and working in continuous rounds.

I used Red Heart Super Saver Solids yarn in black, tan, white and brown and used scrap craft felt in gold for the beak, but scrap yarn in gold can be used to embroider it, too.
