Granby Hat
The Granby River—named for the mining company that operated a smelter along its banks in the early 1900s—flows south from the Monashee Mountains to the United States border. Although at one point the river was dammed to provide power to the nearby smelter, today it is known as one of the best fly fishing regions in British Columbia.
This textured, unisex hat is knit bottom-up with all-around columns of knots and garter stitch. Pattern includes options for three sizes, and a slouchy or beanie version.
