Stay warm this winter with this beautiful two-color brioche cowl! Make one in earth tones for a classic look, or use bright colors for a bold statement piece. Finished dimensions when laid flat are 13” by 10” tall.

This pattern contains instructions on how to make the cowl as pictured, as well as a brief refresher of brioche knitting in the round. It is best suited for knitters with some experience in brioche knitting.

You will need approximately 200 yards of worsted weigh yarn of your chosen colors, as well as US size 7 24” circular needles.

All my designs are inspired by the natural beauty of my home state of Michigan. This cowl is named for Grand Island in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The colors remind me of its sandy beaches and coastline colors.
