Grand Slam Baseball Crochet Afghan
This finished afghan would make a perfect gift for your favorite baseball fan or player! Or even yourself!
This afghan is for the crochet intermediate/expert. The square-shaped baseball motifs are intricately designed. The finished throw is very large: 54 x 54 inches! Great care was taken to ensure there is a “good side” and “better side” to the afghan; meaning the backside keeps the baseball pattern going. 11 different stitches are used in making this one-of-kind afghan. Both the G hook, H hook and yarn needle are used in this pattern along with up to 4 different yarn colors. You will need 8 regular skeins of yarn to make this afghan (with some yarn left over). Baseballs are red and white. The photographed afghan used black and red (local high school colors) for the baseballs’ edgings. The black and red edgings can be changed to your favorite team’s colors!
You will receive 14-pages of detailed directions. Included are several color photos detailing how to make each of the baseball motifs! There are over 50 color photos along with several assembly diagrams. Switch the edging colors to your team’s colors to make your finished afghan truly unique!
This pattern is my original design. It cannot be resold, distributed or reprinted without my expressed written consent. This pattern can be used for your own personal use. You can sell a finished afghan as long as credit for the pattern is given to: Metal Yarn Yak.
