Grandifolia Neck
Well, it has been quite a Grandifolia year.
Grandifolia Neck, a cousin to Grandifoli-oli-a neck is a little less flamboyant. In fact, she was created first but somehow her cousin stole the spotlight a few weeks ago. This cowl is worked in the round and can be made with a small circumference (26 inches) and tall (11”) or a larger circumference (approx 57 inches) and shorter (8 1/2 inches).
The sizes are approximate as I have only test knit the worsted weight smaller circumference so far.
I am also going to knit one in Berocco Boboli Lace and put beads up the spine of each leaf.
You may want to wait until a few more samples have been knit before you start one. But, if you can’t wait, go ahead, be a bit adventurous, it’s just a cowl.
As always, thanks for any feedback.
And, thanks for all of the love you have shown the Grandifolia family.
Enjoy,
Vickie
Thanks to martiniiis for a beautiful test knit in DK. She used 115gm for the smaller circumference version.
