Story of this pattern… This special pattern creation was requested by Ramona Hoover. Every Christmas, her mom, affectionately known as Grandma Brenda, would make slippers for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Grandma Brenda did not stop there, she also would crochet a pair for her brother and sister and each of the spouses and children of everyone in the family. Grandma Brenda sadly encountered the battle of her life with a cancer diagnosis but she would not pass on until she finished her last set of Christmas slippers. She was able to complete her mission and then she passed away in the month of August. Those slippers were the most looked forward to part of the evening on Christmas Eve when they gathered as a family. But that year….that year they were even more special. To receive them as if they were from heaven. Ramona wanted to carry on the tradition, however she did not have her mom’s pattern and requested the pattern be recreated and written based on the photos she had. This was a fun project to do and both Romona and I the writer hope you can spread the love of Grandma Brenda’s Christmas Slippers… Enjoy!

You will use 2 strands of worsted weight 4 yarn for this pattern and a K - 6mm hook, these are fast, easy, and simple! Enjoy!
