This is a pattern my grandmother has been knitting forever. She is 88 years old now, so I’ve decided to publish the pattern for posterity.

ETA: The pattern link on my blog has been updated with the Google Docs copy that has correct decreases. My grandma passed away 5 years ago, and I’m glad this pattern lives on. I realize at some point it was a widely circulated pattern, I have updated it with modern terminology, abbreviations, etc.
