Grandma's Nutcracker
Free version can be found here https://cassiemcsassycrafts.blogspot.com/2018/11/grandmas...
This is an original Cassie McSassy Craft design. This is to purchase the pattern ONLY, and not the actual doll. This purchase comes with more pictures and a template to make the eyebrows, eyes, and mustache.
This pattern is for the intermediate crocheter because of the many color changes throughout the pattern. Please message me through Ravelry or Facebook for assistance: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Cassie-McSassy-Crafts/69510...
Materials Needed:
Worsted weight in colors: bright red, dark red, green, light blue, dark brown, beige, black or dark brown for the belt, and sparkly gold (I used 2 strands of Vanna’s Glamour because it is not worsted).
Black felt for the face
White paint pen (or something similar to trace the pattern onto the felt).
Printer and paper (to print out last page to cut and trace for the face)
9 mm safety eyes (or use doll joints if you have them)
Polyfil stuffing
Star and gem sequins (or you can use buttons).
Super glue
Hot glue
D Hook
Scissors
Darning Needle
Stitch holder (this is worked in the rounds and a stitch holder is helpful to remember where each round starts)
Glue spray (I use Stiffen Stuff spray)
This doll will stand about 16 inches tall.
