Grandpa Cardigan for froggy
Finished product measures: the cardigan is 5,5 cm tall,
6cm wide (body).
This cardigan fits a froggy that is knit with 3mm needle,
approximately 12 cm tall. If your froggy is smaller or
bigger, you can go down or up a needle size.
The frog pattern belongs to Claire Garland -
@dotpebble_knits , therefore it is not included in this
pattern.
In this pattern, you will find the steps explained for you to
make the cardigan for your little froggy or similar size
creatures!
Throughout the pattern, the photos are for demonstration
purposes only - please refer to the written instructions for
the steps.
Materials
Yarn: Any yarn of your choice that fits the gauge
Gauge: 20 st - 28 rows
Knitting needle: 2.5 mm Straight or double pointed needles
Tapestry needle
Crochet hook (optional, I used 1.25mm hook to pick up stitches for the pocket insert)
Abbreviations and techniques used
K knit
P Purl
P2tog - Purl two stitches together
K2tog - Knit two stitches together
kfb - knit front and back of the stitch
M1A - make one away increase
YO Yarn over
PM - place marker
sts – stitches
Cast on and cast off
W+Tp method - take the yarn in front, take the stitch on the left needle purl vise, wrap the yarn
around the stitch by taking the yarn behind, slide the stitch to the left needle , turn the work
W+Tk method - take the yarn to the back, take the stitch on the left needle knit vise, wrap the yarn
around the stitch by taking the yarn in front, slide the stitch to the left needle n turn the work
