The Grandpa Sweater is a classic cozy pullover, suited for crochet intermediates and up. This design is made using an eyelet pattern and a simple 2 row repeat. The sweater features a fitted bottom band & cuffs, inspired by the vintage fit of the 80s & 90s. The fiber content of this project is a wool/alpaca/silk blend - allowing for stretch, warmth & comfort on skin.

This pattern is a made-to-measure design, and can be adjusted to fit the wearer’s shape.

Construction - Garment is created with 2 flat body panels and 2 flat sleeve panels that are sewn together. A simple ribbing technique is also added to create collar, cuffs & bottom band.
