Granger Lake is worked with a strand of the Fingering Weight single ply merino and a strand of a Lace Weight silk/mohair blend held together. My sample was knit flat and seamed, my preferred method. Additional instructions are provided to work the body in the round to the armholes and to knit the sleeves in the round.

The shoulder features a lovely chain of stitches flanked by a garter ridge. Small eyelets are created by an easy short row method. Should you not want holes, use your favorite short row method (German, twin, wrap and turn) instead.

This boxy oversized style will fit a wide size range and is flattering for all body types. The sleeves are narrow with 10(11¾)“ /25(30) cm circumference at the elbow. Should you wish a wider sleeve add 5 sts for each additional inch. The armhole should also be deeper for wider sleeves. Email me with any questions, I’ll be happy to help.
