You should know the basic stiches: chain stitch, single crochet, slip stitch, double crochet. All the other sticthes used in the pattern are explained. Includes also triple crochet.

This pattern is written in English, standard American terms and includes many photos of the process.

Pattern includes instructions for the following sizes XS, S, M, L, XL.
Also instructions to add lining and to make the ties.

Materials needed:

64(80,100,120,140) meters 72(88,108,132,152) yds of Fine/2 (sport/baby) weight stretchy yarn. This means You’ll need approximately 16(20,25,30,35) m / 18(22,27,33,38) yds of each 4 color.
Crochet hook: 2.5mm/C, or any size to obtain the gauge!
Elastic Fabric for lining and ties, aproximately 30cm/12”. You can use any lightweight fabric, that stretches 4 ways. Fabrics for bathing suit are normally the best. You can Google for example with keywords > Bathing suit fabric/material, lycra, spandex.

Color with triangle+edgings and crotch 60(66,76,90,110) m / 66(72,83,98,120) yds. Other 3 colors you need 22(26,32,40,50) meters / 24(28,35,44,55) yds of each color.
Crochet hook: 2.5mm / C, or any size to obtain the gauge.
Elastic Fabric for lining, approximately 40cm/17”. You can use any lightweight fabric, that stretches 4 ways. Fabrics for bathing suit are normally the best. You can Google for example with keywords > Bathing suit fabric/material, lycra, spandex.
Elastic band width max 6mm for the waist to crochet under sc sts. Needle and yarn to sew the ends of the elastic band.

Pattern is designed for stretchy bikini yarn, Alize Diva Stretch. The tops in the pictures are made with Alize Diva Stretch (92% Microfiber, 8% Elastic): 100g=400m / 3.52oz=438yards.
Other yarn suggestion for example: Kamtex Bamboo or cotton Stretch yarn. You can use also non stretchy yarn, but the gauge might be slightly different and the result may not be as good as with stretchy yarn especially if getting wet with your bikini. Alize Diva stretch is normally easiest to find online and all yarn options mentioned here are all available for example in Etsy at the moment of writing this pattern.
