A Christmas tree in the style of a granny square which can be used for making retro or vintage hanging ornaments, garlands, wreaths and other decorations. A perfect stashbuster project.

The tree is worked in the round and is approximately 11cm (41/2 inches) tall.

You will need:

· Cascade 220 yarn, approximately 16m per tree, in 10 colours including Brown (8686) for the trunk.
· 4mm (G) crochet hook.
· A tapestry needle.

· Sewing a seam using ladder or mattress stitch.
