Granny Cocoon Shrug
A simple and stylish, long shrug that’s
perfect for cooler weather, the Granny
Cocoon Shrug is an easy and highly
customizable crochet project that’s great
for advanced beginners making their first
garment and experienced crocheters alike.
The shrug is constructed from a large
granny square worked in the round, with
added rounds to make the border and cuffs.
Instructions are also given for optional
long sleeves. Note that the finished shrug
is a long cocoon shape, and is wider in the
middle and narrower at the hips.
This is a new and improved version of my original granny cocoon shrug “recipe” (basic method, not a pattern or photo tutorial), which you can find here.
