This granny square was created after I had made 90 hearts to line the aisle of my wedding. I wanted to be able to keep them and the granny heart square was born!

I turned my squares into a blanket throw which you can find for free on my blog.

I used Caron One Pound but if using baby yarns for a baby blanket, I suggest using the recommended hook size called for on your yarn label. It will change the size of your square, but as long as they are all uniform your blanket will turn out beautifully!
