My project samples were crocheted using mostly Cascade 220; the red yarn in the second block is Paton’s Classic wool. I love this pattern in wool, but you can experiment with using just about any yarn or thread you want to. I imagine this would be lovely crocheted in thread, although I haven’t tried it yet.</p><p>My sample hexagons were not blocked before these photos were taken. I think they’ll be even prettier when blocked.
