> Granny hooded Cowl
Granny hooded Cowl
Using the Granny Stitch, this hooded cowl works up quickly. Beginning with the granny square, you will work back and forth, turning for each round. This creates a slit from the center of the square which acts as the collar where buttons will later be attached.
The hood is worked from the last round of the square, working along the edges of the top two sides (the base stitches) which now resembles a diamond. This sequence continues until the very end of the edges, where the back seem of the hood is joined. Simple single crochet stitches border the entire garment, including the button loops.
Make this hooded cowl in any color combination for a truly custom look!
