Granny Pillow
This old-time favorite pattern in crochet can easily become a pillow as well as an afghan. It is made of 24 motifs, each about 4.5 inches square. You will need approximately 5 ounces each of black and assorted colors of American Thread Company Dawn Knitting Worsted and a plastic crochet hook size H or any size hook which will result in motif gauge given.
