Granny Pops Jumper
MATERIALS
DK-weight yarn
Shade: Variety of colours
x 700 (800, 900, 1000)g total
4mm hook
YARN ALTERNATIVES
Any DK weight yarn will substitute here. This project is perfect for using up scraps of yarn from your stash – just stripe up haphazardly.
Yarn amounts given are approximate. Bear in mind that yarns with a high wool content will have less yardage than acrylic based fibres so you may need more or less yarn than stated. Aim to keep to a similar fibre content of yarn if working this as a stash busting project to ensure an even effect overall.
TENSION
Work 5cl and 11 rows in main pattern to measure 10 x 10cm/ 4 x 4in using 4mm hook, or size needed to obtain correct tension.
PATTERN NOTES
Garment is designed to be worn oversized, with plenty of positive ease.
Body is made top down, in the round.
This top will work in haphazard stripes, joining in a new colour of DK yarn from your stash every row. If you want a more purposeful pattern, follow our lead and find a natural shade like light grey for the main shade, every other row, adding in random stripes in between as you wish.
