Granny Square Baby Blanket

This granny square blanket is made for my nephew who was born in May 2016! I love the colors of blue and yellow which is so bright and pretty for boys! I hope you would enjoy this pattern as much as I do!
This is the first time I used Drops’ yarn (Muskat). So far I have no complaint about this cotton yarn (yes, it’s as splitty as other cotton yarns). However, Drops’ website said Muskat is a DK weight yarn but I would say it’s more like fingering weight. Therefore, each motif is smaller than I expected so the blanket was so small in size. So I needed to do more rounds for the borders to make the blanket measured bigger! But I still like it!
