This is a pattern for a simple granny square baby blanket with ruffled edge, made with worsted weight (category 4, aran), 100% acrylic yarn and sizes H (5.00 mm) and E (3.5 mm) crochet hooks.

The finished blanket measures 24 by 24 inches. Note that this is a small blankets made with 4 by 4 granny squares. But it can be easily made in a larger size.
About 750 yards of yarn are needed. I used 3 skeins of Soft Classic Acrylic by Loops & Threads.
