Sizes are achieved by creating squares to the size specific to the size sweater you want.

XS – 4” squares
S – 4.25” squares
M – 4.5” squares
L – 4.75” squares
XL – 5” squares

Yarn size, hook size, your tension, and type of square you choose to use determines gauge. Each sweater uses 48 squares for the cropped sleeve waist length version. For longer sleeves you will need 6 additional squares. For the longer body you will need 9 additional squares.
